To add annotation text using the Feature Editor:

1. Select the Edit Feature tool from the Command Manager, select Edit Feature in the Feature toolbox or select Edit Properties from the Feature menu.

   

2. Select a feature in the graphical view. The Feature Editor opens.
3. Click OK and move the cursor into a graphical view. Available annotation text appears on the cursor.
4. Select the location to place the text.

To add annotation text using the Annotate Features command:

1. Select the Annotate Feature tool from the Command Manager, or select Annotate Feature in the Feature toolbox.

   

2. Select a feature in the graphical view. Available annotation text appears on the cursor.
3. Select the location to place the text.
